In occasione del Seminario del 1° febbraio 2023 Declinazioni innovative della democrazia diretta e partecipativa e integrazione dei gruppi deboli, che si terrà presso il Dipartimento di Studi internazionali, giuridici e storico-politici dell’Università degli Studi di Milano, viene lanciata per dottorandi e dottori di ricerca la call for paper al fine della selezione di sei proposte di interventi. Jurimetrics, Journal of the measurement of legal phenomena (in French Jurimétrie, Revue de la mesuredes phénomènes juridiques), publishes articles related to jurimetrrics, whether they propose results or develop a reflection.

Proposals for contributions may come from:

• Researchers who are conducting or have conducted research using jurimetrics, whatever the field of law investigated. Presentations of tools and methods, results and possible impacts are expected.
• Practitioners who use jurimetrics tools or who are thinking about the impact of jurimetrics on their work.
• Developers of tools using jurimetrics, provided that their contribution is intended to contribute to research and the advancement of knowledge, and is not promotional.
• Researchers reflecting on jurimetrics, its origins, its functions, its prospects and its dangers.

The project Digital Vulnerability in European Private Law (DiVE), financed by the Italian Ministry of University and Research from June 2022 to May 2025, aims to investigate the notion of digital vulnerability by exploring how this notion stands vis-à-vis traditional paradigms of protection of weaker parties (such as rules on incapacity, consumer protection, data protection, anti-discrimination, equality before the law) and to what extent it might properly capture risks and harms stemming from digital technologies. I giovani comparatisti dell’Associazione Italiana di Diritto Comparato sono lieti di proporre una Call for Abstracts per un incontro di studio dal titolo Le declinazioni della giustizia, che si terrà alla Sapienza Università di Roma il 2 e 3 febbraio 2023. The young comparatists of the Italian Association of Comparative Law are glad to propose a Call for Abstracts for the event The Adjectives of Justice that will be held at Sapienza, University of Rome, on February 2nd and 3rd 2023. The Call for Abstracts is aimed at young researchers who are interested in developing a discussion that adopts the tools of legal comparison to investigate the multiple dimensions of the concept of justice.
